X-Ray Crystallography

Growing crystals for X-ray crystallography

Resolution
At high resolution (<1.5 A) the model is probably more than 95% a consequence of the observed data. At lower resolution (>2.5 A), the modelling of details in protein structures is much more subjective than is widely appreciated. Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., 42, (2003), 2718-2736.
