Alkyllithium titration


Diphenylacetic acid technique
Reaches a yellow endpoint. If the alkyllithium solution is yellow anyway, this can be a problem. N-benzylbenzamide can be used instead, as it has a blue endpoint (J. Organomet. Chem., 542, (1997),  281-283.)

no-D NMR technique
Nice stuff, but be careful with alkyl-lithiums in NMR machines, don't even think of doing this without a Young's capped NMR-tube.
